This 500 sq ft ADU conversion in the heart of Los Angeles was designed to complement the existing 1920s Spanish Revival front house seamlessly.

We created a light-filled, functional 1-bedroom, 1-bath studio with an open layout. A timeless modern kitchen with an intimate dining nook, cozy living area, spacious bedroom with walk in closet, and generous size bathroom. Subtle references to the main home’s heritage, imported tiles, warm wood shelving, and soft warm tones throughout to ensure visual continuity without sacrificing clean contemporary function. Practical features include a 2-in-1 laundry unit and mini-split AC for year-round comfort.

A large sliding door opens directly to a private backyard, perfect for morning coffee, relaxed evenings, or weekend barbecues.

The result is a comfortable and serene space that feels like an extension of the original property, timeless, practical, and thoughtfully integrated.
