Connie Huerta, founder of Development Studio is intimately involved in all projects, ensuring the vision comes to life and all details are well managed. 

After working in the Fashion Industry for 18 years, Connie built a keen eye for design, product development and management. As she worked feverishly in a 8-5/M-F corporate environment, she managed to build her Real Estate portfolio funding her own investments and developments and mainly working weekends. Her dream was always to be a home developer and interior designer, but she understood that this took time, patience and lots of money. So after 10 years of trial and error, buying, renovating, renting and flipping, she is now fully transitioned into the Home Development industry and excited to share her expertise, hacks and learnings with you. 

“One thing that fashion has taught me is to be resourceful, to source the highest quality goods for the lowest price, be fast and efficient, always think ahead, and be a people person. Being self-taught, I tend to work on instinct, and my years of study and work experience have helped me to channel those instincts into successful design solutions. I’ve spent years traveling, curating, researching, and experiencing interior spaces and nature’s beauty along the way, all of which fueled my passion for design. I bring these deeply inspirational experiences and emotions to each of my projects” 

The concept of homes can sometimes be intimidating and of course, expensive. A lot of interior design or home development websites are overwhelming. For this reason I plan to make this process as personable and efficient as possible. I'm excited to collaborate with you.
